Street Futures CIC was setup in 2018 to support and address issues highlighted by inner city communities of Birmingham. The organisation is working to tackle challenging issues such as a rise in unemployment, theft and violent crime, anti social behaviour, inactivity, inequalities and the lack of opportunities for those coming from deprived communities. After liaising with the locals of our targeted communities we realised that there was a shortage of programs and projects within the communities to tackle these issues.Locals also expressed concerns about not letting their children out to play due an increase of drug abuse, gun and knife crime in the area, with some of the younger locals also expressing that they could be targeted by bullies and thieves.

Amazing team providing a fun filled environment for the youngsters. My daughter (10) and son (6) attended the easter camp and also the summer camp this year. I'm very impressed with the overall organisation and kindness from the staff. My children enjoyed the planned activities and were excited to tell me stories of their day. Thank you so much. Looking forward to the next holiday camp.Posted on Google![]()

My 10 yo son has thoroughly enjoyed his sessions in the Funetics Athletics clubs. The team are proactive, warm and engaging with all the children. The team and volunteers are brilliant role models for the children. My son is particularly fond of Arun, who appears to have a lovely connection with the kids with a zestful kind energy. Staff are respectful and kind towards parents and children. And the team create a safe, positive and fun environment for all. Keep up the amazing work you all do for the community and positive spirit! Such opportunities and such a team should not be taken for granted.Posted on Google![]()
